Recall: Nylabone Puppy Starter Kit

The Food & Drug Administration sent out a publicity release about the recall of 1 Nylabone product.  TFH Publications, Inc./Nylabone, recalled their Puppy Starter Kit due to the possibility of Salmonella contamination.

Salmonella is especially dangerous for puppies, whose immune systems are not as strong as adult dogs.  Watch for signs of vomiting, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, and fever in animals and similar symptoms in adults.  Adults with compromised immune systems are especially vulnerable to this bacteria.

Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water after handling pet food, dishes or toys.

Expiration date on package is 3/22/18.

If you have purchased this product, discontinue use immediately.  You may return the unused portion to your place of purchase for a full refund.
