Recall: Fromm Issues Recall of Certain Dog Foods

March 18, 2016

Fromm Family Foods announced the recall today of certain dog food products.  Through their own testing and analysis, they discovered that the affected products do not contain the recommended levels of vitamins and minerals and may contain elevated levels of Vitamin D.

This recall is being conducted in an abundance of caution as symptoms would only appear in dogs that had eaten the affected products as their only meal for an extended amount of time.  This could have led to a decrease in appetite.

There have no reports of of any dogs with health problems, but the company recommends not feeding the affected products.  The products were shipped by Fromm to distributors’ warehouses from December, 2015, to February, 2016.
